Premera & Lifewise Reimbursement Changes
A new policy is set to take effect January 1st 2027. This will reduce reimbursement for massage therapy by approximately 15-20%.
As a result, we have made the difficult decision to terminate our contract.
At Centerpoint Wellness Northwest, we've always been committed to making therapeutic massage more accessible by accepting health insurance, helping reduce financial barriers so more people in our community receive the care they need.
Unfortunately, Premera's significant reimbursement cuts have made it financially unsustainable for us to continue providing these services while covering essential operating costs and ensuring our therapists earn a fair, living wage.
Many clients may have out of network benefits and out of pocket cost may change. Please verify your benefits if you plan to continue care with us.

How you can help
We are actively fighting these policy changes by filing complaints with the OIC, HCA, and national Associations.
But we need your help too. Feedback from policy holders carry more weight than complaints from providers.
